European countries are at the top of the list of students’ choices for studying abroad. Universities usually offer scholarships for degree courses, PhD courses and master’s degree courses. Depending on the case, the duration is 3, 6, or 9 months. In some cases, the duration of the scholarship may be longer.
British Chevening Scholarship
British Chevening Scholarships are funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and its partner organizations. Chevening awards are generally of two types – Chevening Scholarships and Chevening Fellowships. Scholarship recipients are selected from around the world by the British Embassy and High Commission. The scholarship covers tuition fees for a one-year master’s degree program, a fixed-rate living allowance, an economy-class return airfare to the UK, and other travel expenses for the workshop.
Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program
France is already known for tuition-free education. In addition, the French organization Campus France International helps students apply for the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program. It is an initiative of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs to attract foreign students to pursue Masters and PhDs in French universities. Studying here provides opportunities for policy-makers in the private and public sectors in the future. The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Program covers the cost of a monthly allowance, return trips, cultural activities, and health insurance. Students can apply for up to 30 years from developing countries at the postgraduate level and up to 35 years from developing and industrialized countries for Ph.D. programs.
Dad Scholarship
English language programs in Germany range from 400 to 700 euros. Apart from this, one can also study without tuition fee in public universities here. DAD, the country’s largest organization approved by the German government, annually awards scholarships to young and professional students from Asia, Africa, parts of the Americas, and Eastern Europe to study at German universities at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship
Although Switzerland is suitable for low-cost study, the cost of living here is high, and international students are not allowed to work. Therefore, students are given the opportunity to study here through the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship. The scholarship is mainly offered to pursue postdoctoral or doctoral research in any academic field at a public university or recognized institution in Switzerland. Every year the Swiss Confederation awards Government Excellence Scholarships to promote international exchange and research cooperation between Switzerland and more than 180 other countries. Young researchers with bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD degrees are selected by the Federal Commission for Scholarships for Foreign Students (FCS) for Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships. It covers tuition fees, monthly allowance, loading allowance, and health insurance.
Get Cambridge Scholarship
Gates Cambridge Scholarships are awarded to outstanding students from countries outside the UK to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree at the University of Cambridge. The scholarship covers tuition fees, college and university composition fees, airfare, and visa costs. A total of 90 seats are reserved in this scholarship for non-European citizens.
Radboud University Scholarship Program
Full or partial scholarships for master’s degree programs at Radboud University Nijmegen are offered through the Radboud Scholarship Program. Meritorious students from countries other than the European Union Economic Area are considered eligible for this scholarship. In addition to partial cost waivers, there are full tuition fee waivers and living expenses waivers. The Radboud Scholarship also covers costs such as visas, residence permits, health insurance, and liability insurance.
Developing Solutions Scholarship
The Developing Solutions Scholarship is designed for international students from Africa, India, or Commonwealth of Nations developing countries to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of Nottingham. The institute works actively for the future development of the students. Developing Solutions Scholarships awards 105 scholarships each year. Out of which 30 scholarships cover full tuition fees and 75 cover half tuition fees.
Rhodes Scholarship
Founded by Cecil Rhodes in 1902, Rhodes is the oldest and perhaps most prestigious international scholarship program in the world. Through it, talented students from different countries of the world get the opportunity to do their master’s degree at Oxford University. The Rhodes Scholarship covers all university expenses, personal stipend, health insurance, and airfare.
